Reveal: There's More To The Story

WCQS will add three new programs to the Sunday afternoon line-up: Fresh Air Weekend, The New Yorker Radio Hour and Reveal. The three-hour block of programming will air from 2 to 5 p.m. beginning June 12.

Fresh Air Weekend collects the best cultural segments from the week’s programs and crafts them together for great weekend listening. Award-winning journalist Terry Gross hosts the show, which will air air Sundays from 2 to 3 p.m.

From The Center for Investigative Reporting and PRX – this Saturday at 3 and Sunday at 6 on WCQS

In this episode, we track down secrets one powerful religious hierarchy was keeping under wraps; troops open up to Reveal about their experiences with torture and whether officers are being held accountable; and high-speed broadband is like electricity for the 21st century. Reveal examines why so many cities are left with poor service.

Reveal is a new investigative program from the Center for Investigative Reporting and PRX. On this Reveal pilot, WBEZ reporters show how heroin moves from Juarez to Chicago and into the Midwest; reports from inside "The Box" from teens in solitary confinement; and an update on the Center for Investigative Reporting's examination of prescription drug abuse in the VA.

Reveal is hosted by Al Letson from State of the Re:Union.
