It's the first day of our shortened Spring Membership Drive. Thanks to sustaining members and to everyone who pledged early for cutting FOUR days from the originally planned nine-day drive. We worked to together to shorten the Membership Drive. Now let's work together to raise the remaining funds needed to keep YOUR public radio station on track.

When you tune to WCQS you hear the news from around the world and right here in Western North Carolina. You hear classical music and wonderful performances by the Asheville Symphony Orchestra. Now that spring is [finally] here, you even hear weekly tailgate market reports in conjunction with the Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project (ASAP). Today we celebrate all of these thing with a special drawing. Anyone who makes a gift today and helps get our on-air drive to a great start will be entered in a drawing to win:

  • An array of goodies from ASAP, including a gift certificate for Asheville City Market and pass to this Summer's Farm Tour.
  • A Masterworks Pick Three Season Subscription for two to the Asheville Symphony Orchestra
  • A pair of ceramic WCQS / NPR mugs
  • And . . . a highly coveted WCQS Cesspool of Sin T-Shirt.

We're also thanking anyone who makes their gift today with a packet of zinnia seeds from our friends at Sow True Seed. These seeds are locally harvested from right here in Western North Carolina. We are homegrown radio that delivers the world. You rely on the programming on WCQS to keep you informed, to keep you inspired and to make you think. Think about how much you listen to WCQS. The reason you listen is the reason to give.  Give Now online or call 828-210-4810!

All Sustaining Members and everyone who helped shorten the drive is already entered in any drawings we have during the on-air drive!

No contribution is necessary to be entered in the drawing.
