NC Lawmakers Split on Bill to Reopen and Avoid Default

Seven members of the North Carolina U.S. House Delegation voted to fund the federal government and raise the debt ceiling, six voted no, including  Republican Mark Meadows of the 11th Congressional District.  Rep. Meadows was the author of a letter that was signed by 79 of his Republican colleagues that urged House leaders to support the shutdown as part of a strategy to deny funding of the Affordable Care Act.  David Hurand has more.....
