Download the Capital Campaign Brochure (pdf)

Expanding the WCQS signal will bring the finest in public radio to 30,000 additional people in Western North Carolina.

New translators are planned to extend the WCQS signal beyond mountains that currently block reception to five new regions:

  • Black Mountain / Montreat
  • Bryson City
  • Cashiers
  • South Henderson County
  • Tryon

WCQS will be the first and only public radio available for most people.   For many people, WCQS will be the only radio station available-period.
